Brakes ineffective after 1.2 hours of flight

Post by René Artois »

Hi,

I've seem to lost proper functions of the brakes. I barely ever use the brakes when I taxi or when I land so it doesn't make sense why they aren't working.

Now I am unable to do runups without having the cub lurching forward quite quickly

Please help.

René

sometimes FSX loses the settings of some axis for any reason, maybe the pedals (if you use some of course) were plugged out (or the system didn't recognize them properly)... It might also happen that Windows "logs" some hardware out to save memory... Did you check the key/axis assignments?

(do the toe brakes in the Cub move?)

Hi MarcE,

Toe brakes move in the cub and I use FSUIPC for calibrating brakes. FYI I reset the sim, did one run-up and it didn't lurch forwards. Did a run-up again a few seconds later and it began to lurch forward...

I am doing the runup at 2100 RPM as per the manual.
