Tailwheel is retracted into rudder

Post by FlexFlier »

Very strange...the J-3 tailwheel is disconnected from its supports and retracted into the bottom of the rudder. The tail is the appropriate height above the ground as though the wheel is correctly installed. Apparently I cannot attach a picture ("Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached.") and would appreciate any help to identify and fix the problem. Thanks. ~Mike

In the manual at the beginning are the required FSX settings for the aircraft. It sounds like your FSX advanced animations are not set to on?

Lewis, thank you...exactly right. I had forgotten that I had turned Advanced Animations off for some other software.

Norforce, I never heard of photobucket. I guess I'll have to check it out if I ever need to attach a pic.

Aha glad to see it all sorted for you. Re: photobucket, any photo hosting will do so free ones like photobucket or any other free hosting like dropbox etc work well.

thanks

Thanks, all. Wishing you clear skies and a tailwind (except on landing, of course)! ~Mike
