I just purchased the Piper with Accu Sim but cannot get the engine started when either doing it manually or using the auto start button in shift-3.
The propellers do start turning, but the engine splutters then dies.
Any help appreciated as I'd like to get this baby in the air.

Hello Modex,
are you settings set as per the manual, so for example auto mixture turned off?
Also is your throttle cracked a little forward to allow the engine to start and run, fuel etc in the 2d load manager panel?
thanks

As Lewis says, do you have any fuel? Many people forget to check fuel, myself included. Oh and don't forget to prime the engine if in a cold climate like the UK at the moment.

Setting are as per manual. I have checked auto mixture is off also.
Throttle is cracked.
Fuel 12 gallons.
Using auto start. Environment is dessert Australia.
Edit: I just bought the Civilian Mustang with Accu Sim and it had the same problem with starting the engine.

Are you loading in the default fsx fuel manager or the custom one for our aircraft (You should only use our payload manager). Is the Aircraft also in working order in the maintenance hanger?
thanks

Thanks so much, that fixed it!

Nice one Lewis. I check the maintenance hanger so regularly I can't believe I didn't think of that
The one thing I always forget to check is the fuel. That's because it carries over from flight to flight, and no other craft apart from A2A does that. Oh the Dodo does it, but I always forget that one too I convinced myself it was fuel, as it happens to me so often.
I'd make a lousy pilot
