Hi,
In FSInn, my J3 shows up as: T/J3/G
What is the "T" and "G" designate?
Thanks,
Dave
ICAO Code
Re: ICAO Code
Pure guess, and meant to be funny T=Tail Dragger and G=Gear (as in with gear instead of float or Ski)
Tony (That's all your getting, like it or lump it)

/T means "No DME / Transponder no Mode C"DaveL wrote:Hi,

/G means "Advanced RNAV with transponder and Mode C / Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS)"
However, as written in FSInn the former is nonsensical, the latter is definitely not applicable to a J3! I know you could fit a dash mount GPS but this doesn't cover the requirement of "Advanced RNAV with transponder and Mode C".
It should read J3/X
/X means "No DME / No Transponder"
In other words, it is a VFR-only aircraft, and your dash mounted GPS doesn't officially exist. Whether having it in the cockpit could land you in court is another thread entirely.
Best regards,
Robin.

Thanks, I will change my configuration.
Is there a website that lists all of the descriptions?

Thanks for the response. Duh, I should have thought of Wikipedia. It has everything!
