Simulation Rate v. Target Frame Rate

Post by Jimhall »

The "Quick Flying Tips" for A2A suggests a simulation rate =<4x. Is the simulation rate the same as the Target Frame Rate and if so what is the numerical value of 4x? :|

The simulation rate is the rate at which the simulation is playing.4x would be 4 times faster than normal.

The frame rate is the rate atwhich the simulation frames play and is measured in frames per second.

The two are totally seperate.simulation rate is used to speed up time on the game in order to complete long journeys quicker than in real life.
FPS is the frames per second that your computer is able to play flightsim.
