Hey Sim Pilots , this just now came flying across my Radar Screen !!

a New Extensive FREEWARE Flight Planner utility, and it looks quite extensive too !

looks like it does a lot more than just help you plan VFR Flights, like current weather conditions, Wind and other stuff.

Thanks for this heads up. I've been using another freeware - Plan G. Another is always useful and might be better. This one you let me discover looks similar, yet maybe just a bit different and could be better.

Plan G is pretty darn good, real good actually, lots of tools to use.

I'll check out this one and choose, thats the good thing --- choice

Looks good. For my local trips I do all my calculations and meassuring manually. I would love to have some of that work load removed when in the sim. Can I add local report points in any of these apps by keying in the coordinates? I have already set them up in my RXP GNS modules.

+1 VFR Flight is a great tool and software, straight forward and easy to use, and the vertical nav makes setting up your approaches easy greasy :D not to mention giving you a foreflight like experience if you run it on a second monitor.
