How did P-51D's bomb?

Best way to put it, dive, release and hope you'd hit the target. The A-36 was the dive "bomber" of the series of P-51's

Like any fighter bomber of the day mostly just practice practice practice using basic skip bombing etc techniques.

There are manuals for bombing and strafing with needed data for P-51, but I don't have it yet - the only available versions I saw were in paper, ant that's vintage-priced stuff
