Jerky / Stuttering Turns On Ground

Post by Avio »

Been a long time ... just taken a quick fun spin in the beloved Cub and noticed there was a lot of jerky, stuttering movements when taxiing around especially on rough ground at those small airfields.

Tested it out with default Cessna and also A2A Comanche but effect was much less or even not noticeable in the case of the Cessna.

Could it be something to do with the vertical bumping up and down that is more pronounced in the Cub that cause the graphics loading to be rather overwhelmed?

Once airborne fps easily get into 100+ and everything was smooth again.

Any advice much appreciated.

Note : Head momentum movement already turned off in camera.cfg.

It'll just be animation issues with framerates the normal issue you can get in FS, as so many animations display differently or can display differently dependant on framerate. Animations tend to work best at a stable 30+ but if memory serves some run at around 24, but then memory might be well of with that on lol
