Hello!
Accu-Sim does not save the engine hours. I have Steam Edition, aircraft bought in Steam.
There are no other problems. Can you help, please?

Re: Engine time is not saved
Hi and welcome to the community.
First of all. Have you run the latest updater? Even if you just installed the plane you want to install the update. Just go here download and run as administrator.
Then there's three different versions of the Cub. The standard, the tundra and the flight float and I believe that each of them has their own engine and airframe time. Did you by any chance fly let's say the standard and check engine time on the float? That might be an explanation.

Checked in my non-Steam setup: the same thing
I checked all the versions: their times are at 0. And I noticed that in Documents\A2A\FSX there are folders for the models installed, but no PiperJ3 folder.

Sounds like you don't own the Accu-sim J3 cub, just the standard cub, or own them both but have only one installed.ilya1502 wrote:Checked in my non-Steam setup: the same thing

Re-verify your files in steam. If you just purchased but have not restarted your system that though very rarely has been known to cause issues and I personally still stand by the old advice of restarting a system after software installation.Т-6 wrote:Hello!

Re: Engine time is not saved
Yesterday I bought the non-steam version of the Cub and the accusim add-on for it. I ran the latest update after install. I restarted the PC and made several flights, exiting the sim, restarting the PC and starting the sim again after each flight. The folder Documents\A2A\FSX\PiperJ3 is there, but it doesn’t contain any .dat files, while the files for the other A2A models are all there (I also own the Comanche and the Texan). The Cub itself works fine, I can hear all the accusim sounds, the only problem is that the engine hours are not saved. I have Win10, the latest version and FSX:SE.Re-verify your files in steam. If you just purchased but have not restarted your system that though very rarely has been known to cause issues and I personally still stand by the old advice of restarting a system after software installation.
thanks,
Lewis

Hello,
when you installed did you run as administrator and or are you running the sim as administrator via right clicking and selecting run as admin?
thanks,
Lewis

Post installation have you restarted?
And have you tried re-verifying files in steam just to check for no errors in your fsx. Its a great feature of steam and worth the check.
thanks,
Lewis
