Hi, right on as the subject says, can you set a key to turn the prop instead of the mouse?

No I'm afraid that won't work since the Cub doesn't have an electric starter. So the only way to start the engine is hand prop it. Of course the good old crlt+e shortcut should work and get the little Continetal going (in the simulator at least )

Hi, true, the lil continental might have a few problems with that.
I just thought i could map a keystroke too a movement of the mouse.

It is a great little airplane. Unfortunately I have never gotten to fly one in real life but I fly it's slightly younger and stronger sibling the Super Cub and I absolutely love it.
