hi all, I am trying to figure out if the six cockpit views set standard for the cub (cockpit, virtual cockpit, lean left, lean right, instruments, handstart) can be assigned to some joystick buttons
I can't seem to figure out how but its probably pretty simple ...
if anyone can advise please and thanks
much appreciated
regards

Re: can cubs six cpit views be set to buttons on joystick
I think the best you can do within FSX/P3D itself is assign two joystick buttons: one to the "view (next in current category)" action and one to "view (previous in current category)". By default these actions are assigned to 'A' and 'shift A' if I recall correctly. However, I may be mistaken.
For more complex custom views which can be assigned to joystick buttons and key presses, it's generally necessary to use a third party add-on such as EZdok (complex but very useful) or OpusFSI.
Cheers,
Nick

I have a cockpit button assigned to the A key. It's great for cycling between views in the cub and the modern GA planes as well.
