A super cub would be awesome! I get to fly one in real life and it's my absolute favorite. Even if it's only the baby with the 95hp continental engine. Still best plane if ever flown!!

I agree that a revisit to this classic aircraft would be fantastic and would more than willing to pay for an upgraded version. In fact trying to get access to download my previously purchased Silver-wings edition - suffered a hard drive failure and had somehow managed not to back up my original download - for some reason the purchase isn't listed on my account at the A2A store - Anyway - I miss the aircraft - It is my go-to plane for viewing the scenery.

Perhaps after the t6, seminole, and t33 they will revisit it or give us something comparable.

Yup, that's a nobrainer. I would get that in a heartbeat.

If you build it, they will come. ;)

Just got back from a very pleasant flight in the J-3. Took off from FirstAir in Monroe, did a T&G at Harvey Field, then flew over the "mountains" and dropped through a pass to finish up at Darrington. Walked over to the IGA and we're sitting on the bench in front of the store eating some fried chicken and Diet Coke right now.

OK, if there is one thing I could ask for on the next version of the J-3, this is it: "slutty" Heidi.

I would just like to bump this thread because, like so many other A2A fans, the cub is one of the few FS planes that you NEVER get bored of and always come back to and IT deserves some sort of upgrade package. "Just" add the maintenance hangar and all that goes with it, maybe an alternative prop, tires, oils, engine heater (if there is one for the cub) etc. and all the other stuff that is standard with the more recent releases. I would gladly pay something like 10-15€ for it and I'm pretty sure most, if not all, other cub fans would too. If this won't happen, would you guys at least fix it so that the oil doesn't refill automatically after each free flight? I can't be bothered with saving and loading flights just for that.

Cheers! from a Cub fan! :D
Cheers!/Andreas

Hello
I agree for a maintenance hangar for the Cub !
And what about a ball slip indicator ? It' the only instrument who really miss me
for better symetric flights, and I don't think it will alter the Cub's spirit of simplicity

You have the best slip/skid indicator in your head and those are your eyes. You can spot and correct for adverse yaw much faster than you could by staring at the ball. Given what it is, the Cub just doesn't need that instrument.

Keep your compass level. Great slip indicator.

In an upgraded version, I'l like an altimeter that shows the altitude more clearly i.e with a "big hand" and "little hand" :D . The current one isn't really much use if you're doing pattern work, for example.

I suggest you use a far better instrument whilst "in pattern" and other occasions.

The instrument, the human eyeball.Get your head out of the panel and look out the screen.

A precision altimeter would be totally out of place in a J-3. There would be little value in it as you can't fly the airplane into any airspace where ATC would be very concerned with altitude.
