Oh, that's interesting - I hadn't thought about the whales. I'll bet that's it - the animations would have to be an added drain, right? I'll have to see if the whale areas and the frame rate drops match up.

Late last night had her back at Montauk for some (sloppy) pattern work - running fine in UTX/GEX/REX territory with all the ASA weather dialed in.

BTW, I'm usually not a fan of a/c with heavy texture loads but in this case it's absolutely worth the price - wouldn't want to do without any of the atmosphere.
