Hi mori
I'm planning on flying the upcomming Accusim Spitfire from London to Cape Town, following Alex Henshaws 1939 route down the west coast.
Just finished a second reading of his "Flight of the Mew Gull" and "Sigh for a Merlin". Awesome books.
At least 40 hours I should think. Bit faster than the Cub thankfully, I admire your patience

The eastern route does look more interesting though, with the Pyramids and Nile, Kilimanjaro etc. Maybe I'll come home that way.
Are you taking Heidi, or kicking her out to save weight??
Couple of links that might be helpful.
Let us know how you get on and post some screenies

Cheers and good luck!
