I just wanted to know if the engine does wear without Accu-Sim as I am able to access the Maintenance hangar.

There is no component wear, fatigue, etc. I think the biggest thing Accu-Sim adds is feel and immersion. The physical sound engine alone makes all the difference.

I hope you find a way to get the Accu-Sim upgrade. The hardest thing for us for releasing the option to allow people to at least get into an A2A plane is knowing what is missing and how much of a difference it makes.

Scott.

Accusim is Viagra for the Mustang and other A2A aircraft.
You can enjoy the Mustang without it, but once you try it with Accusim, you'll never want to fly without it again. :-))

In fact, having never ever tried the A2A-planes without Accusim I could it even imagine wanting to try. The heart and soul is the Accusim. It is very good that the very most modern "fleet" has it already installed. Why fly without Accusim unless it is real world flying? :)

Dudley,

That explains why I always feel a bit stiff after flying the Spitfire Simulator for too long...I thought it was just the cramped cockpit...... ;)

Funny you should say that :-)

I was involved in an informal conversation at the bar and talking to a friend's wife at a party. someone happened to make a joke about Viagra. She related how her husband ( my friend and a top Navy fighter pilot) didn't need Viagra. All she had to do was to start talking to him asking questions about flying a fighter and before she knew it things "progressed quite naturally from there". :-))

A Fighter Pilot, Architect and Accountant were asked whether they prefer to spend time with their wife or their mistress...

Pilot : "Definitely the mistress...she is hot, feisty and handles beautifully...perfect inspiration for my work".

Architect : "My wife...she is my inspiration, my muse ... the perfect motivator for my work"

Accountant "Neither...but if each thinks I am with the other, I can at least go to the office and get some work done!!"

(Ask me how I know :) ;) )
