cockpit labels
The labels that appear when the cursor is placed over a cockpit switch or lever. These are now off with the WOP3 P 47 and the WOP2 P 51. Is there a way to reactivate these? I apologize if this is a RTFM question.

Re: cockpit labels
When you start FSX, go to the "Settings" tab, click the "Customize" button to the bottom right corner of the graphics settings, click the "Aircraft" tab, and make sure the check box next to "Show Cockpit ToolTips" is checked.

Re: cockpit labels
Thanks for the reply, but unfortunately it was already checked, so that is not the problem. Any other thoughts?

Re: cockpit labels
Do you have DX10 preview enabled?
FSX tooltips don't work on any plane in DX10 mode, that's FSX issue.

Re: cockpit labels
Bingo...that is the problem Some1-a2a. Thanks for your help.
Other issues that are associated with me with DX 10 preview activated include,
-screen tearing at propellor,
-flickering "fog" or "haze" below when flying at high altitude,
-flickering runway scenery when parked on tarmac
-and of course the labels being off in the cockpit.
