Oxygen duration

Post by Cormoran »

Hello

I notice the 7lb oxygen only lasts 7minutes 30seconds.
Flow valve set to normal-auto mix.

Is this as it should be?

I think you are releasing the oxygen directly into the cockpit instead of using the demand regulator. Ensure that you don't have the emergency valve turned to the 'on' position -- unless your mask is failing and you need oxygen fast!

Oxygen tank full 7lbs (?)
Emergency valve off.

I believe this was some isolated event, as it has not occured again. Oxygen lasts much longer and its like riding a harley in the sky.

Thanks
