I have found that only my P-47-D 23 Razorbacks are the only ones that run. The 20 and 22 crank but no start. If Im on the runway and the 23 is running and I switch aircraft to a 20 or 22 it stalls.Go back to the 23 and its sitting there idling. Any help would be great. Thanks. Scooter

I do believe they have their own maintenance hangars, so to speak, for the different sub types. Is the engine damaged?

Can you 'autostart' the problematic variants?

I down loaded the P 47 a few days ago and have the same problem as Scooter62. The -23 variant starts up as per the book, but the -20 and -22 variants appear to suffer from fuel starvation – the prop turns, the engine seems to catch and then stops. I have checked the maintenance status; the fuel cock positions; read the manual until I’m dizzy, hoping to find that switch or procedure that I’ve overlooked. I’ve used Auto Start; switched another aircraft, with its engine running, to the P 47 and turned off AccuSim, thinking that might be providing just a bit too much realism, all without result. So, what have I missed. If the -23 variant works, why not the others? Of all the A2A aircraft that I fly, the P 47 has been the only one to cause me any problem, but as the program works in part I’m loath to uninstall and start again. Does anybody out there have any ideas. Thanks Rob

If overhauls in the maint hanger do not fix, try deleting the accusim dat files incase these have become corrupted.

thanks,
Lewis

Hi Lewis and Norforce. Many thanks for your quick responses. Fuel was the first thing that I checked, so it does look as if the obvious route now is to 'pull the plug' and start over. Thanks again and smooth landings. Rob.
