The elevator trim seems to be locked on the P-47 with Accusim. If I attempt to turn the trim wheel with the mouse it just snaps back to full deflection causing the nose of the plane to rise. I have to fly with lots of down elevator.

Any Suggestions?

Thanks

Joe

Well, no problems at all on my end. You might need to check all your settings, especiallly under graphics - globals options -> advanced animations to be checked. Be sure you have all service packs/hotfixes for the P47 installed and using at least FSX SP2, better Acceleration. If that all does not help I recommend a full reinstall in the proper sequence.

Just guessing. Maybe FSX's autopilot turned on for some reason? It has happened to me several times with other planes, and it was a joy to finally discover that it was the autopilot turned on  . I don't know if default autopilot works with the Accusim P-47, but if it does it may be the reason for what you are describing.

Guys, Sorry it took so long to get back to this.

I did remove all programs including FSX and then did a full reinstall of everything. Same results.
When I first installed the P47 Razorback and then the Accustom a few months back I had no problems at all. Flying was great and the trim worked correctly. Not sure what is going on here. Acts like the trim is stuck. My attempts to move the trim wheel with the mouse or with the function keys have no affect. When I try to move the Wheel with the mouse it moves a bit but then snaps right back to full deflection.

I'm not in autopilot because everything else works fine and I have full control even rudder trim.

No clue!

Well I obviously did something wrong because my trim issue seems to have been resolved. I think it may have something to do with my Logitec controller vs my Realflite G4.5 flight simulator. There may have been some conflicts there but I am not really sure. All I know is that the trim is working fine now and I can get back to enjoying my P-47.

Thanks for the help.
