Landing calls for Auto mixture.
The mixture handle can be moved easily even if programmed but not really able read
the markings.
I do not see a key settings to program auto mixture in the FSX files.
Any one know a key setting that can be used?

Standard mixture control settings should work. CTRL+SHIFT+F3 and CTRL+SHIFT+F4 should do the trick for you Joachim.

I'm using an actual P-47 throttle quadrant which makes it really easy and realistic. I love the feel of real metal not plastic...lol

The mouse tooltip over the mixture lever (the red one with "M") should read "Mixture Auto-Rich".
The lever has four positions alltogether: Cut-Off, Auto-Lean, Auto-Rich, Full-Rich. You can switch among these positions by dragging the lever by mouse, moving the lever by mouse wheel or by keyboard (default FS keys: Ctrl+Shift+ F1/F2/F3/F4)

Make sure the global FS Automixture option is off (unchecked).

regards
ROB

Thanks Rob,
That is what I was looking for.
PS: The start is Auto Rick
CTL SHF F1 - Idle Cut off, F2 Lean quickly, F3 Rich incremantally, F4 Rich full.

None of these give Auto Lean or Rich except if using the mouse.

By pressing the Ctrl+Shift+F3 you change the mixture levers positions in this direction: Cut Off - Auto Lean - Auto Rich - Full Rich.
Ctrl+Shift+F2 works the opposite, the direction is: Full Rich - Auto Rich - Auto Lean - Cut Off.

Luftwaffe boys may have problems with manual mixture ;)

regards
ROB

Rob,
Thanks, as I just tried it I can handle it between CTL SHF F3 and F2.

About Luftwaffe boys (Btw you and me) this 85 yr old great grand father still remembers
we Luftwaffe boys never had any problems mixing it up with the girls.
After all, as much as we loved flying, it was still only the second best feeling.

I bought it off of a warbird parts dealer. I wanted a quadrant with a supercharger control since I seem to be flying the P-47 quite a bit. The feel the way it moves and that old smell make it worth the time and effort to make all the hook ups...electronically and mechanically.
I modified my Microsoft sidewinder joystick by making it a real control stick complete with a leather boot but unfortunately no force feedback...yet.
I modified my CH rudder pedals so they have a wider stance. It was hard to chop them up since they were still new and under warranty but ya gotta do what ya gotta do...lol. I needed that once I had the joystick because I needed room to move it, and the stock rudder pedals were way to close together.
Then everything including the base was painted zinc chromate green. Next is a trim wheel..and then and then...it never ends...lol
Ya gotta love A2A's warbirds.

If you make it work again and with enough force drop a note at the forum, please!

Sorry but I'm having problems posting pics. Something about "attachment quota has been reached."
