I've had the P47, with Accusim, for a week or two & have been flying it a fair bit. While I'm flying the aircraft often suffers a pronounced wing drop (or wing raise, whichever way you like to say it). In testing I've set all weather to clear (nothing), loaded the aircraft to less that 50% fuel in the main tank only, no ordinance & it still happens, often. I'll be flying along straight & level & it's just like turbulence, down goes a wing. It makes it difficult to trim the aircraft properly. I am keeping the speed to above 150 mph, usually 200 mph+.
I'm using FSX with all service packs (not acceleration), windows xp SP3, old MS Sidewinder stick (not force feed), Saitek rudder pedals, P47 is patched to Sp1.1.
I'm still not sure if it is my computer, FSX or the aircraft. It hasn't happened with other aircraft.
Has anyone had this occurrence or got any advice?
I really like this aircraft & it's systems, it's fun to fly when it behaves.
Hmm, interesting. Around what altitude did this happen? A couple times I have experienced this around FL 100, but I thought it was my add-on weather engine A2A generating thermals. Perhaps it is not.
