Thanks for the update =)

Did a very quick testflight and I think you can see the runway better on the final now.

BTW: Did you also change the sound volume difference between canopy open and canopy closed? I think it's much quieter with the canopy closed now / louder with canopy open.

Regards,
Julius

Thought she was fantastic anyway, but thanks for the update. Looking forward to trying it out!
Might have to bunk off work in the morning, but then I am the boss :D

Julius,

I don't have any notes of changing the sound volume of that for the update, but it is possible that was done and not noted.

Scott.

Cool ! Thank for update ! :D Flew a couple of hours with it and my impression is that the bird became even more draggy as she was and requiers about 38-40" mp instead of 35" before update to keep 150 mph and altitude on landing pattern with gear down, flaps up and full internal tanks.

Hi,

many thanks for creating a patch.
I'm a little concerned by reports in another thread of other things being broken by the patch.
At the moment I am happy with the P47 (although it is a little demanding to land but manageable) so have decided against install.
Can the A2A guys post an update as to wether we should hang fire on the patch while problems are investigated or is it a `green` for install?
Don't want to fix one thing and break several others. Especially as those 'others' seem to be previously nice features.

Keep up the good work,

Ted.

The bug in the patch was up for one hour before being re-uploaded fixed. So unless you have a time machine and download the patch when first released all is well 8)

...If you do have a time machine would you be interested in some sort of loan?

Scott,
I just purchased/downloaded my P47 the day before yesterday. Will it already have this patch or do I also need to install it.

Thanks,
Bob

You need to use the patch. As a general rule, we don't update main installers unless we absolutely must, as this itself can introduce bugs.

Scott.

You most certainly will love it. I'm not real big on military planes or historical planes, but this P47 is so much fun to fly that all that doesn't even enter the picture. Like Cody said, flying it feels like you went into the Smithsonian and told them you were going to borrow one of their display P47s for a joy ride. It feels that real.
