Missing Propeller Texture?

Post by acerus »

Hi to everyone here!
I´m new in Flightsiming and have a Problem with Repaints for the WW2 Fighters P-47: I downloaded some Repaints and installed them as described in the Readme. Everything works fine until i start the Engine. Then the Popeller Texture seem to be missing (that happens only by the Repaints). There is only a disk shaped blue Texture in DX10 preview mode and a black disk in DX9....
I use FSX - Acceleration, WW2 Fighters with the 1.2 Update and the P-47 Fix.

I used the Search function already but didnt found something.
Hope someone could help me.

Thanx in Advance

I think I can help here.
When I created my repaints for the P-47, they were all done for FS2004.
You're using FSX, and they should work well, but with a few changes from FSX. The prop texture file is not in the repaint files that you downloaded. You should use the original that came with the P-47. Look in the original texture file (on my computer Texture.mml) and you'll see a DDS file called prop (65kb). Copy that to all the other texture files and you'll be right.

Happy flying, I hope you'll enjoy Epsillon's repaints, as well as those done by me.
