Hi,

Due to all the helpful comments here I have most of the Heavy package running in FSX SP2 with the exception of the Liberator where the glass in the VC is very dark to see through.

Is there any known workaround for this?

Thank you,
Martin

Hey gsnde,

Have you tired changing the window alpha to a lighter or darker grey?

I loaded this up and can see what he means. Here's a new texture for this aircraft - try this:

Download and extract the file here:
www.shockwaveproductions.com/wingsofpow ... lass_t.zip

To these folders, replacing the file inside:
...\SimObjects\Airplanes\WoP B-24D Liberator\TEXTURE
...\SimObjects\Airplanes\WoP B-24J Liberator\TEXTURE

As always, make a quick backup of a file before you replace it.
Scott.

Thank you, the texture file Interior_glass_t fixed the black windows in the Lancasters and lightened up the windows in the B24s and the Privateer.

How do I apply this fix to the Lancaster? I renamed the file to glass_t.bmp and replaced the ones in the TEXTURE folders, but it still all looks black!

SpeedbirdBOAC: I just placed the file from the zip (without changing the name) in all my WOP Bombers and jets that didn't have it already and it fixed the lot. Seems the file is missing from a few of the planes and is required for all to work in FSX. Only trouble now is the FS9 repaints which have alpha channels that are WAY too reflective. But the defaults look and fly very nicely now.
