I don't know if this post should go here or in technical support. But here goes. When I installed the B377, the installation was
just fine. When I tried to capture a screen shot, it gave me the message cannot capture screenshot at this time. I changed to
one of FSX's default planes and tried to capture the screenshot, and I received the same message. Before I installed the B377
the capture screenshot worked just fine. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Thanks in advance, Edmeister

Re: It won't capture my screen shot
Hi.
I have not had this issue , i assume you are useing the default screen capture useing the V key.
What is your system ie win 7 64/win 10 , i doubt very much that the B377 is at fault on this issue,if you give some info on system specs and sim and weather everything is updated or not and antivirus used , also run the sim as admin , more info you supply the better for someone to be able to help you.
regards alan.

Re: It won't capture my screen shot
Thanks, Alan. I am running Windows 7 64 bit. And I used the v command in FSX to capture the screen shot. My system is updated. I
will try your suggestions and report back to you. Thanks again, Edmeister

Re: It won't capture my screen shot
Hi, again, Alan. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium,Service Pack1. Processor
Intel Core i5-3210M CPU @ 2.5GHz 2.5GHz 8.0 GB Ram 64-bit Operating System
Dell PC. I did check my antivirus. It is up to date. I am running FSX as
administrator. I used the v command to capture the screenshot and it still
gave me the message, "cannot capture screenshot at this time". I hope this
extra info helps. Thanks again, Edmeister

Re: It won't capture my screen shot
Hi Edmeister.
start the FSXA flightsim , goto settings/controls/keys and buttons/ look for the command ( Capture Screenshot ), see if this line has a key assigned to it on the right , by default it should have the V key , just incase you have reassigned this key for something else , if the key side is blank , then see if you can select the default V key , if its been reassigned to something else , you will get a message saying (the key is used by----) , it then gives you the option to reassign it or chose another key.

"cannot capture screenshot at this time"
Is that exactly what it says, or is there some other info as to why? How much available disk space do you have?

Re: It won't capture my screen shot
Alan, that is exactly the message,"cannot capture screenshot at this time". I went into settings. The "capture screenshot" command
key is v. I changed key command and I am still getting the same message. I reset it to default settings, but still no luck. I have
approximately 200 mb of disk space available on my hard drive. But like I said in an earlier post, until I installed COTS the capture
screenshot command was working. I will keep trying. Thanks, Edmeister

Re: It won't capture my screen shot
Check the save location and make sure it is still legitimate and can be written to. Perhaps it was changed inadvertently to an illegitimate location or a location that can not be written to.
Re: It won't capture my screen shot
My first hard drive had 200MB and that was huge at that time, but now I would think that a windows system disk is full if it has only 3GB free, because there is always some process popping up that temporarily uses that much space.Edmeister wrote:I have approximately 200 mb of disk space available on my hard drive.
Or did you mean 200GB free?
Re: It won't capture my screen shot
200mb free is critically low for Windows. Also check the advice on the location where the files are being saved to. If the folder no longer exists, that can trigger such an error.
