Post by cflord »

Rolled the old B377 Stratocruiser out of the hanger and took a little flight around Miami, Florida:

No engine problems at all considering she has been in the hanger for a while. Big difference between the B377 and the L049. The Strat seems a little slow and sluggish compared to the Connie; but I love them both. Each one has their own personality!

I just did MIA in the Connie a couple weeks ago.

I see you've been around Florida a bit lately and it looks like you're running the same ORBX stuff as me. Have you been to MCO, and if so were the ramp and taxi ways covered in trees?

I haven't been to MCO; however I'll go check it out and see if I can find your trees!

Yeah the taxiways at KMCO, Orlando, Florida are covered in trees. TAXI AT YOUR OWN RISK!

I figured as much. Thanks for checking. I landed there in the Connie this weekend and the tower sent me right through the forest looking for my gate!

Nice shots, it is nice to have the Connie and Strat in the hangar together, to aircraft that really show how different designs of the period where and the fast changing thinking of the time.

thanks,
Lewis
