PHNL-NFFN

Post by alan CXA651 »

Hi.
I have just finished a flight from PHNL-NFFN , it was my first time into NFFN , so did not know what to expect from FSX default airport , turns out i had to do a steeper approach than i would have liked near to the threashold , due to trees , thankfully the weather was calm so had a choice of runways , and elected the longest 02/20 of 10499ft approaching from 02 , the terminal building is at the top end of 20 , there is another runway , but it is shorter this one is 09/27 at 6998ft, there are mountains to take into consideration at the 20 end of the longer runway and 27 of the shorter one airport alt is 59ft, got a round of applause on landing , but no copilot compliment , so not as smoothe as my last two landings.
I did get two surprises on this flight from heidi , one before eng start at PHNL after her cockpit briefing , she said lets go scare them boys , and on landing she paid a compliment about she would like to fly with me again , so i must be doing something right.

Hi,

Nice one, I like it. Little turbulent landing at Fiji? (at least it looked bumpy in the video)
Thanks for sharing! (watching the other videos on twitch) ;)

Cheerz,
