KSEA to KORD

Post by alan CXA651 »

Hi.
Just finishing my flight , the second in the pax version med fuel load , max pax load , cruiseing at 29000ft , so this was my longest and highest flight so far , ASN giveing its worst weather , rain and low vis on leaving KSEA , had to put signs on in cruise for 20 min, as the aircraft was in turbulance mid flight , then ASN really screwed me at KORD with the following atis report winds 045/3 vis 4nm 700 brk/9000 brk 11000 overcast 3008 alt setting 6 nm NNE from KPWK windshear alert , this atis report was way off the mark , weather so bad i had to turn it off as it was giveing severe windshear on approach into runway 4R , and zero vis almost to gound , the windshears where so bad it was almost causeing the aircraft to stall , when i was configured for landing , i had to gun the engines to recover control of aircraft , might have damaged them trying to get aircraft and pax down saftly.
Fuel onboard after shutdown was 3447/1968/1966/3480 lbs
Just looked at engines all where excellent prior flight , thanks to ASN and its bad weather 2 are good 1 excellent 1 very poor , all showing signs of heat stress and detonation damage .
LOOKS AS IF ALL 4 ENGS NEED AN OVERHAUL cheers ASN. engs and airframe only have 10.5 hrs on them.

Hi.
I only turn the weather of if like yesterday , it is 100% out of kilter with the atis reports , i am trying this flight again , with My Career reset , my career was ok after the previous flight , but thanks to ASN yesterday my career nose dived , a pax complained about the aircraft being shaky or a bad pilot , i had the seat belt signs on as we was in turbulance in cruise , just cannot please some .

Hi.
Well i reset my career due to the last flight messing me about , only thing wrong with this flight , was my landing , still not smoothe enough , i ease her down , i here the 10ft call , and still easeing her down then there is a sudden thud , as the tyres hit the runway , you know before you even open the career page , that it was not good enough , but was surprised , that the only comment was saying how good the aircraft was , must get them landings nailed.
Stats for flight.
tot time=5h19m
grd dist=1716sm
air dist=1842sm
pass miles=118429
salary=$9645
fuel cost=$859
maint cost=$697
cost per mile=$0.84
pass comment= what a roomy plane, was like a flying house
personal comment= i wish i aced that landing

P.S. i noticed that some have posted the careers doc , for future ref , how do you do that.
