Stratocruiser in P3D v2 - hard on the system?

Post by Alan_A »

Quick question - are any of you using the 377 with COTS in P3D v2? And if so, are you finding it hard on the system. I just tried my first point-to-point flights with it (as opposed to tests and pattern work) and got a pair of ntdll.dll crashes. The second flight, after I'd turned down autogen and cloud density settings, lasted a little longer, which makes me think this must be a resource issue. I've found that the B-17 is also tough on the system in P3D v2, so maybe it's asking too much to get these older Accu-sim aircraft running properly. And yes, I know that they're not officiallly supported in P3D, so I'm proceeding at my own risk. Just wondering if you've gone down this road and what solutions, if any, you've come up with. Thanks in advance!
