So I've been a long time simmer and would say that I am quite good with a modern jet engined aircraft and really enjoy when systems are in depth so earlier this week I decided to push myself out of my comfort zone and after considering Iris & Captain Sim I decided to go ahead with the B377 with the expansion.

What a fantastic thing but what a learning curve it's going to be. So far on my first attempt I set two engines on fire, I'm sure there would have been four had I not closed the sim muttering "I'm sure that's not standard operating practise" to myself. Back to the manual and on my second attempt I got her up and somehow managed to fly her back down again after recovering from a stall.

I've got a fair few questions already but I'm going to spend time in the forum; I'm sure they've been asked before.

Back to that manual.

Thanks for posting. Glad you are enjoying the aircraft. We got through alot of engines at the beginning too. Dont forget our youtube channel for a few videos of things in action. I tend to find a video can 'exaplain' things slightly better than printed text.

Although for version 1 of the B377 much of the video still applies for the latest COTS version;

Parts 4-5; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hB59-CPz ... el&list=UL

Ask away. I remember those days. It's a steep learning curve and playing around really helps out. Although with my flying techniques I get criticized because that's not how they did it in the manuals. Well call me a test pilot then because what I do obviously works very well for me. So playing around trying new things is a good thing. Fly crash explode engines cause if your not learning then why do it.
