P-40 window glass

With the Flying Tigers shark-toothed paint, the P40 is the most famous fighter of the second world war.

P-40 window glass

Post by Skycat »

I hope I don't hurt anybody's feelings with this but I really hate the window reflections on the inside of the canopy. I don't like having the image of an empty seat pan obscuring my over-the-wings views. This effect has long annoyed me so I don't fly the P-40 much, and I feel like I've been passing over an otherwise great airplane. Is there a way to remove the seat reflection, or all the reflections completely (not my preferred solution)? If not, could somebody 'repaint' or edit out the seat from the reflections for me?

I recall Martin (ICDP) did some edits / mods here. Try to search the forum.

Somebody stole my search function; there is no box for that on my pages. I found Martin on the members list but I am "not allowed" to search his posts.

Ah, I forgot. The "search" is temporary disabled. It should be enabled soon.

The user name is "ICDP". Try to PM him.

I hate to ask for this to be uploaded again, but I'm just now recovering from the harddrive crash I suffered two weeks ago. I lost this file as a consequence.

Hello,

I am sorry to pick up this old topic. Is it possible to give me a new download link for the reduced cockpit reflections on the P-40? The one stated in this topic doesn't work any longer.

I bought it on Sunday and like it, but the reflections are IMHO really a bit too strong.

Thanks a lot,

Joerg

If you get a link to Martin's VC glass mod, could you post the link; with Martin's permission of course. I have also missplaced my copy.
Thanks in advance
