I have to jump back into this. Something is very odd and so far I have not been able to find out the root cause.

Re: P-40 sound
Anyone come up with a fix for the sound on the left hand side of the plane only when in spot view?

Re: P-40 sound
I have this issue as well, or a similar one, and I'm quite certain it never occured on WinXP. Only once I went to Win7 beta did I see this issue. I have since gone to a clean install of Win7 retail, and the first thing I did was test for this issue, and it remained. This was with my integrated Realtek HD audio, so I then disabled that and tested with a SB Audigy, and even went out and bought a SB X-Fi, both of which exibit the same issue.
I notice the X-Fi came with "Creative Alchemy Software", which is supposed to restore certain Direct3D functionality that was lost after WinXP, but FSX was not among the supported games, or at least the software said I have no supported games installed.

Re: P-40 sound
I'm on XP and it happens as described. It's like if the sound is rotated 90º of axis. Left/right sounds are at front/back sounds place and viceversa. Mmmmh... maybe I could try a simple sound file renaming workaround... if I'm right. Anyway, it could be useful to further understand what it's happening with the external sound. The big problem is... when will I have spare time to sit in front of my computer? : /

Re: P-40 sound
Update: Has this sound bug been fixed? If it has not, will it be corrected with the Accu-Sim release of the P-40?
