Bought FSX:SE and 3D Lights Redux today on sale, and have a question.
As usual, the 3D Lights installed into it's own DLC folder (as Steam apps do), but this has now left me with "duplicate" aircraft.cfg files for the ones where Shockwave lights were added.
So - what I'd like to do is take all the Shockwave files OUT of its DLC folder and put them into the FSX:SE folder, then uninstall the DLC from Steam.
If I do this, will 3D Lights still work?
I like having things "neat and tidy".

Hello,
I don't believe so no. Just like how some third party vendors add there own DRM and anti-piracy measures to software its the same with Dovetail and the Steam DLC. You'd have to ask them if theirs anyway for you the achieve what you are after.
thanks,
Lewis
