In America, we call that "busting chops", I know exactly what he meant.

I hope this will lead to native P3D versions of the B-377! Besides the stellar product quality, the B377 is still one of the most fun planes ever made for a sim! And can't wait for the Connie!
Re: New Captain of the Ship Aircraft - Connie L049
I've recently bought it and I'm flying this great beast in P3D 3.2 without any problem, just had to copy an executable to FSX.exe in the main P3D directory in order to be able to select the directory at installation (same as the Spitfire and other FSX Accu-sim products).FHS wrote:I hope this will lead to native P3D versions of the B-377! The only quirks I noticed are a temporary off engine sound when pausing the sim (simply moving the throttle slightly works around that), and a somewhat capricious autopilot bank handle and pitch knob (you have to fight them a bit with the mouse wheel, but it's quite fine).
Of course it'd be more reassuring to know a new version is officially supported, especially with LM changing quite a lot of things between versions, but so far it's working like a charm!
Yep, you're right, it's a very good experience, there's a lot to love about the Stratocruiser. Really looking forward to the Connie too!

If its not too late, I'd like to volunteer to be a passenger. I'm sure you guys probably have that covered but if you need an extra voice I'd be honored to be part of the magic.

Surprised there is no development video up yet. Would love to see what the cockpit looks like.

It's not how they do it usually. With the last releases the video always came a couple of days or maybe a week or two before the release of the product. And since Scott said at FlightSimCon that they were about to enter beta testing its going to be a little bit longer (still hoping for late August early September maybe ??). Also if you watch the AirdailyX interview with Scott and Jake you'll get a sneak peak of the cockpit too.Styggron wrote:Surprised there is no development video up yet. I watched the flightsimcon video. It was pretty good. Actually I watched it live but there was no audio on that sadly.Piper_EEWL wrote:It's not how they do it usually. You can rewatch it on AirdailyX.net if you want. There's a link to it.

Scott
If you are looking for voices for the Connie FE I would be glad to help. My Dad was a Flight Engineer on all of the Connie's except the 1649 and also the DC-6, DC-7 and CL44. I actually got about 15 Minutes of stick time on the Connie when I was 15 (about 1973) when Bill Lear's son was getting his Connie rating. My dad was the FE and I got to miss school to go on the flight. I still have most of his manuals from Slick and Pacific Air Transport where he was the Chief Flight Engineer. The Connie is still my favorite all time airplane (although the P-51 is a very close second). The Connie owned by the Airline History Museum, N6937C is an old Slick Connie. I even have my dads old log book with the airplane in it. Really looking forward to this bird, she will be a nice addition to the hanger.
