Scott.
The update went fine on my PPD installation. I think the gear rumble (Comanche), is excessive but all else seems fine.
When I ran the update on my FSX installation, I got a 404 error when it got to the C172. all my other airplanes updated as expected.

Robin,

The C172 should be updating. Try removing the "update_fsx" folder from your A2A / Cessna172 folder, then re-run the update.

I had the same problem as Romeo_Tango using FSX.

Removed the file as you said Scott and all was fine, it worked second time after that :)

OK. Silly question.
What is Constant speed trim shortcut? and where do I find it. I suspect it should be found in the configurator but while I see the new entry for the landing lights I see no reference to Constant speed trim.

Never mind. Figured it out. ''Constant speed'' had me looking for something to do with propeller rather than elevator.

Update said it could not find the B377 nor COTS. What do I do?

Ran it twice but same result.

Also...how do I get rid of the cigarette lighter...I don't smoke and that's where I plug in my iPhone to charge.

Thanks,

i think that something is not right with the elevator authority this time in the 172, i can't make a landing with the stall horn sounding, the plane runs out of the elevator before that. Checked my settings, loads and tested with different props/seals. Landing full flaps, throttle idle.

Before, i could hold it for some time nose up throttle idle even after landing, even strike the tail if i wanted, now i can't. It behaves more like a cherokee in that regard.

Hi, what did you do to fix that issue? I have noticed the same behaviour in my 172 since the latest update.

Scott released another update 06-28-15 to fix that. You can find the link in the first post of this thread.

Daywalker,

This is a strange, extremely rare error that was reported a few months back by someone, and we simply don't know why this file is being referenced.

To get around this:
- Go into your SimObjects / Airplanes folder, and MOVE the Airbus_321 folder out of P3D (can move it to your DESKTOP temporarily).
- Run the installer.
- Once the installer is complete, move the Airbus_321 folder back.

Sorry for this odd inconvenience.

Scott.
Your council - helped.
All aircrafts - update successful.

Thanks for qualitative products!

P.S.
I hope that sometime you will make the plane of the class "Business Aviation" ( for example: Cessna Mustang, Cessna CitationJet, Embraer Phenom 100 )

Dmitry.
