Installing 3d redux in 3rd party

Post by Falcon »

I've been installing 3d Redux in 3rd party, HJG etc with very good outcomes. However, I tried installing in a Grumman Albatross, by just changing the light to schockwave_ whatever and they will not work. No lights at all. What am I doing wrong?

Falcon,

The system is very straight forward. Here is a short tutorial:

Just make sure the spelling you use for any effects is exactly correct with the actual effect in your EFFECTS folder.

Thanks Scott, and guess what? I had an extra "C" in shockwave of the lights that didn't work. Thank you for bringing that to my attention. I knew it had to be something simple. I feel like a real dumb A now. I do alot of work with cfg files and I know that anything like that will ruin the outcome.
