My little contribution - Here are my A2A lights for this new bird ( both A320 and A321 ) listed.

Enjoy

Hello;

I had a question about the numbering,do you just change the numbers,to follow the last number,for each version.

Thank you;

Mark

You can, but not necessary. Yes, just follow the numbering but again, you don't have to.

Hi There,

@ golfcart
Thanks for posting your tweak.
I´m using the V1.16 with hotfix 19.
When I opened the aircraft.cfg of "Aerosoft Airbus X A320 Extended CFM NEO",
the lights section looked as follows:

//[LIGHTS] // A321
//light.0 = 3, -15.2, -54.8, -0.80, fx_navredm ,
//light.1 = 3, -15.2, 54.8, -0.80, fx_navgrem ,
//light.2 = 3, -81.00, 0.0, 1.10, fx_navwhih ,
//light.3 = 2, -15.70, -55.0, -0.70, fx_airbusx_strobe ,
//light.4 = 2, -15.70, 55.0, -0.70, fx_airbusx_strobe ,
//light.5 = 2, -81.00, 0.0, 1.10, fx_airbusx_strobe ,
//light.6 = 1, 4.00, 0.00, -9.10, fx_airbusx_beaconbot ,
//light.7 = 1, 2.30, 0.00, 4.9, fx_airbusx_beacontop ,
//light.8 = 10, 56.50, 0.00, -0.50, fx_airbusx_vclight ,

[LIGHTS] // A320 Sharklet
light.0 = 3, -14.9, -55.15, -0.65, fx_AirbusXnew_navred ,
light.1 = 3, -14.9, -55.15, -0.65, fx_AirbusXnew_lightsoverlay_whi ,
light.2 = 3, -14.9, 55.15, -0.65, fx_AirbusXnew_navgre,
light.3 = 3, -14.9, 55.15, -0.65, fx_AirbusXnew_lightsoverlay_whi ,
light.4 = 3, -72.0, 0.0, 1.10, fx_navwhih ,
light.5 = 2, -17.3, -57.2, 0.66, fx_airbusx_strobe ,
light.6 = 2, -17.3, 57.2, 0.66, fx_airbusx_strobe ,
light.7 = 2, -72.30, 0.0, 1.10, fx_airbusx_strobe ,
light.8 = 1, 3.90, 0.00, -9.10, fx_airbusx_beaconbot ,
light.9 = 1, 2.30, 0.00, 4.85, fx_airbusx_beacontop ,
light.10 = 10, 42.50, 0.00, -0.50, fx_airbusx_vclight ,

//[LIGHTS] // A320
//light.0 = 3, -14.8, -55.15, -0.80, fx_navredm ,
//light.1 = 3, -15.5, 54.15, -0.80, fx_navgrem ,
//light.2 = 3, -72.0, 0.0, 1.10, fx_navwhih ,
//light.3 = 2, -17.5, -55.15, -0.70, fx_airbusx_strobe ,
//light.4 = 2, -17.5, 55.15, -0.70, fx_airbusx_strobe ,
//light.5 = 2, -71.30, 0.0, 1.10, fx_airbusx_strobe ,
//light.6 = 1, 3.90, 0.00, -9.10, fx_airbusx_beaconbot ,
//light.7 = 1, 2.30, 0.00, 4.85, fx_airbusx_beacontop ,
//light.8 = 10, 42.50, 0.00, -0.50, fx_airbusx_vclight ,

Now I´m confused, because I can´t find Landing Lights: Only 10 Lights max? Which lines do I have to change if I want to include shockwave lights into the "A320 sharklet -version" ?
Also when I tried to exchange the beacon light with "Fx_shockwave_beacon_b // Shockwave light" and "Fx_shockwave_beacon_b // Shockwave light" (I didn´t change the position values).
When I switched the beacon lights to "ON" they stayed dark (as turned Off).
Still scratchin´ my head, because when I changed back to the original beacons (copy/ paste just the "fx_airbusx-beaconbot an -top" part) they were flashing again.

What did I do wrong??

Best Regards

Torsten

Have to ask the obvious question first - you do have shockwave lights installed - yes? If so - then just copy and paste exactly what you see here - this is for both the A321 and A320. Just insert // before each line for the non-corresponding aircraft. In other words, if you have the A320 aircraft.cfg file open, then only copy the A320 settings you see below. The // before each line will comment them out.

Yes this is a bit different than what you see above, as it has been tweaked since I made this post a while back...

[LIGHTS] // A320
light.0 = 3, -15.0, -54.55, -0.80, fx_AirbusXnew_navred ,
light.1 = 3, -15.0, -54.55, -0.80, fx_AirbusXnew_lightsoverlay_whi ,
light.2 = 3, -15.0, 54.55, -0.80, fx_AirbusXnew_navgre,
light.3 = 3, -15.0, 54.55, -0.80, fx_AirbusXnew_lightsoverlay_whi ,
light.4 = 3, -72.0, 0.0, 1.10, fx_navwhih ,
light.5 = 2, -15.50,-55.15, -0.70, fx_shockwave_strobe_2, //fx_airbusx_strobe ,
light.6 = 2, -15.50, 55.15, -0.70, fx_shockwave_strobe_2, //fx_airbusx_strobe ,

Hi there,

@ golfcart
Thx for your reply and sorry for the long delay.
Yes, I´ve got 3d Lights redux installed. I´ll go ahead and insert the lines you´ve provided into the aircraft.cfg files.
I´ll let you know how it turned out.

Thx again
Best Regards
