Light Editing

Post by Kimo42 »

Hello all,
I am looking for help with the Shockwave lighting program to make some adjustment to their location. I am trying to understand the line program so I can move the lights up, down, forward and back. Here is what I understand now.
Example- Light.0=2,-18.60, -53.50, 5.75, fx_shockwave_strobe_1_2
LIGHT.0 = first, lighting position
2= the type of light to be displayed
-18.60 = forward, aft, up or down from a center point designated by the aircraft programmer
-53.50= forward, aft, up or down from a center point designated by the aircraft programmer
5.75 = forward, aft, up or down from a center point designated by the aircraft programmer
Fx_Shockwave= The program
_Strobe_1_2 = This is the Lighting effect

Is this correct? And is the forward, aft, up and down positions the right place to change the light position?
Thanks in advance
James

Hi James, you almost have the theory correct with the exception of the light position co-ordinates.

Have a look at this post where I explain what each item does.

That should get you up and running with a bit of luck.
