Exclusive selection of Shockwave-configs

Dear owners of Shockwave-lights addon,

In "Glockes Hangar" (<-click on!) over at the Austrian forum www.friendlyflusi.at I'm compiling my personal selection of Shockwave-configs. Each of these I carefully designed, gauged and tested in Microsoft Flight Simulator using the whole choice of available Shockwave effects. Now I want to share the configs with the community. Ready for download are PDF-files of these airplanes, others will follow by and by (-> NEW). The files contain links to the sources of the airplanes, pictures of the lights and the configurations of both the [Lights]-section in the AIRCRAFT.CFG and the [VCockpit01]-section in the PANEL.CFG.

Enter either into the section "IFR-Flugpläne" or "Shockwave Konfigurationen". To sort the files alphabetically (as seen here) press on the column header "Name". Now choose the file you are interested in by clicking on its name and then on the small button "Datei speichern" (= download file) in the middle of the screen. Open the PDF-document and copypaste the lines to the CFG-configurations of your planes and enjoy. Maybe you should save/backup the original CFGs in case you want to restore them.

G'day mate,

found the download page for these configurations but found the site very hard to read as I only speak English. Any chance of an English conversion of your site??

Cheers
Pat

Hello Pat,

If you follow the guideline described above you should succeed. Furthermore an information for English-speaking visitors was added on the download-site in the meantime.

Hi Folks, at the top right corner of each page is a button marked "Translate", (note that it shows up if the language is other than your default setting. Mine is English). It works very well and I think that it exsists for anyone who has Windows 7. Then again, Windows 7 may have nothing to do with it and it may be a option given by Internet Explorer. Check it out, it works on pretty much all languages and is always there when I needed it.

Also Glocke, I just finished the configs for the Just Flight's Constellation L049 and C69, (it's pretty extensive). The entire edits are listed in the A2a 3rd party section but I can send it to you as well if you want it. Just say so.

Hello can you put the config file of the POSKY 777-200 V2 on here please? I have went to the site, Translated it, and tried to open it up on the Notepad but came up in fancy looking letters. Thanks! Trying to get my FedEx 777 hooked up with this. :P

I changed all SW-config-files from the MS-WORD- to the PDF-format and thus improved the download safety. In the course of this I reworked the files, corrected some minor mistakes and newly set URL-hyperlinks to the aircraft models.

Best, Glocke

Can I request a config?

If so I request Project Airbus A319 for FSX and the Project Airbus A320 for FSX
