Question about Runway Light´s / 3D Lights Redux

Post by VolkerfromGermany »

Hello!

I have a problem with the runway light´s. I think the problem is a fsx problem.
The runway lights popping up, as closer as i get to them.

Other people have the same problem. You can see it at the video at the end of the page 3 of this topic:

Is this problem solved with 3D Light Redux?

Greetings, Volker.

Not sure which popping you mean, as I cannot see it in the video. But thats an sim platform issue for the most part. 3D lights is more aircraft lighting than airport, whilst our effects may help the situation I do not believe it will be fully fixed just to the nature of the tech issue being with the host sim platform, if the popping you mean is the basic LOD type stuff in game engines.

thanks,

Thank you for the info. The popping up is already visible on the video, you have to look closely. Again and again new lights pop up between the runway's side marker lights. Lod bias is not the problem, tested to 8.5. You can also see that the lights in front of the runway are suddenly brighter and the green lights in front of the runway too. It is best not to enlarge the video and to look very closely.

If 3D Lights Redux can not solve the problem, then the problem should also be recognizable on your computers, if it is a general fsx problem.
Can you tell me how you solved the problem?

Thanks a lot !!
