The release notes reference a new yellow navigation light. I tried "navyel" but this did not work. What is the letters needed in "nav___" that will make this light work?

Please disregard the above post just before this one as it has been resolved in the post titled "Yellow nav light."

This is my first post here!
I downloaded the B-17 and 3D Lights Redux saturday and I wonder if I also have to install the updates.
If I have to install them, where do I get version 1.1.??

Thx for your reply!

I am interested in this package but would like more information on how to install on 3rd party aircraft. Is it a real chore to figure out the lights and what goes where or is it something the average simmer can do?

Hi
I'm enjoying the great lights on my aircraft. I fixed strobe lights on the wing tip of my PMDG 744 but unfortunetly the strobs eluminate below the winds as a result of wing flex during flight. I noticed that the FS wing tip strobe lights stay with with the flexing of the wing. Is there anyway to fix the A2A strobe lights so they flex with the wings also? (or strengthen the entensity of the FS strobes)

tks

Tried to download and install the 3D Light update v.1.2 but when I try to install NORTON says it is infected and deletes it. Any suggestions. I even went to the A2A website and same thing there.

I'd try disabling Norton, sounds like its not playing nice with the file.

Norton refuses to allow me to download this file.

Is this a bad link posted or is my anti virus a little too anti?
Any suggestions.

Thanks.

As noted in the two responses above, Norton will see the file as a false negative. Turn Norton off or let the file through to download.

If I purchase and install this, does it automatically get installed on the A2A 172? Or do I have to play with config of the A2A plane?

I am unable to see the version number anywhere. How do I locate this?
In the shockwavelights folder there is an swlights_install.txt but that only lists the aircraft which have been updated.

Thanks

Just run the latest update at the top of this forum. It does all the checks and balances, and if something is amiss, it will notify you.

Scott.

ok - thanks.
Would be great to have an indication of which version one has installed though. Just a readme file with version release notes :-)
