If you posted information on a 3rd party aircraft and it is either not in the database, in the wrong database, or not correct, please post here. Many posts did not specify if the information was for a FS9 or FSX aircraft or both. We expect there will be a period of correcting things until the database settles in.

Moving forward from here, any new aircraft configs should be placed in this thread. We will routinely add the info to the database, deleting posts in here as they are added. This way people can get the very latest information right here, in one place.

Hi,
I have been looking for the light configuration for the Posky 777-300 and 777-200. I did find the configurations but the lights are at the wrong positions... I have strobe lights floating in the air instead of sticking on to the wing and stuffs like that.... May I request for the correct configuration for the POSKY 777-300 and 777-200. Please if anyone can help me!

Please click on the banner below for
- SHOCKWAVE 3D LIGHTS REDUX setup (including a simple instruction for removing the awful default illumination effect),
- a mod which enables the jetways
- and a push back fix (push back car will no longer crash into the nose gear)
for this aircraft.

No fees, no advertisement, no nonsense, no malware (Norton proofed)!

Kind regards,

PMDG Boeing 747-400 X (FSX)
Image
Since the setup shown in the data base of this forum leads to a red flashing of the virtual cockpit caused by the beacon light on top and false positioning of the nav lights at the wing tips (flex wing positioning) I worked out an optimized setup which works great.

Please click on the banner below for
- SHOCKWAVE 3D LIGHTS REDUX setup,
- a free browser based Company Route Generator, which converts flight plans ready to load to your PMDG B744 FMC,
- a mod enabling animated ground services for the FSX default luggage vehicles
- and a video tutorial about programming the FMC and flying the Queen Of The Sky.

Tu-154 M (FSX; PT_Tu-154M; Version: 154m_v3_02)
(http://www.avsimrus.com)

Nice Russian project for FS2004 and FSX including 1st officer talking Russian (I don't understand a word but it seems to be real flight deck talking); comes with four liveries: AEROFLOT (current design), AEROFLOT (former USSR design), SIBERIA and SIBERIA S7 designs.

Here's the "aircraft.cfg" setup I carefully worked out for FSX:

[lights]
//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing
light.0 = 1, -38.44, 0.78, -2.70, Fx_shockwave_beaconh, // Shockwave light
light.1 = 2, -57.9, 0.00, 26.85, Fx_shockwave_beaconb, // Shockwave light
light.2 = 4, 64.0, -1.00, 5.00, fx_vclightwhi,
light.3 = 4, 64.0, 1.00, 5.00, fx_vclightwhi,
light.4 = 3, -61.88, 0.00, 2.05, fx_navwhi,
light.5 = 2, -61.88, 0.00, 2.05, Fx_shockwave_strobe, // Shockwave light
light.6 = 5, 12.9, 7.70, -1.25, Fx_Shockwave_landing_light, // Shockwave light
light.7 = 5, 12.9, -7.70, -1.25, Fx_Shockwave_landing_light, // Shockwave light
light.8 = 5, 12.9, 7.70, -1.25, Fx_shockwave_landing_light_light, // Shockwave light
light.9 = 5, 12.9, -7.70, -1.25, Fx_shockwave_landing_light_light, // Shockwave light

Have fun!

Ilyushin Il-96-400 & Il-96-300 by Kirill Konovalov (FSX)

The package is designed for FS2004, but can be used with FSX without limitation.
Very nice for AI traffic!

I worked out two setups of "aircraft.cfg" - one for the Il-96-300, one for the Il-96-400; both carefully optimized for FSX:

Il-96-300:

[LIGHTS]
//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing, 6=taxi
light.0 = 3, -131.00, -91.56, 25.00, Fx_shockwave_navred, // Shockwave light
light.1 = 3, -131.00, 91.56, 25.00, Fx_shockwave_navgre, // Shockwave light
light.2 = 3, -185.00, 0.00, 30.00, fx_navwhih,
light.3 = 2, -185.00, 0.00, 30.00, Fx_shockwave_strobe_l, // Shockwave light
light.4 = 2, -140.50, -91.56, 24.20, fx_strobeh,
light.5 = 2, -140.50, 91.56, 24.20, fx_strobeh,
light.6 = 1, -192.00, 0.00, 62.90, Fx_shockwave_beaconh, // Shockwave light

Tu-134 by SCS (FSX)

Tupolev-134 designed for FS2004; completely compatible with FSX; light setup worked out for FSX.

Just replace the [LIGHTS] section of the "aircraft.cfg":

[lights]
//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing, 6=taxi
light.0 = 3, -24.90, 48.90, -3.39, Fx_shockwave_navgre, // Shockwave light
light.1 = 3, -24.90, -48.90, -3.39, Fx_shockwave_navred, // Shockwave light
light.2 = 3, -60.50, 0.00, 18.40, fx_shockwave_navwhi, // Shockwave light
light.3 = 2, -60.50, 0.00, 18.40, Fx_shockwave_strobe_l, // Shockwave light
light.4 = 4, 43.88, 0.00, 3.48, fx_vclight,
light.5 = 1, 21.47, 0.00, -4.38, Fx_shockwave_beaconb, // Shockwave light
light.6 = 1, 20.17, 0.00, 5.37, Fx_shockwave_beaconh, // Shockwave light

light.9 = 6, 47.80, 2.90, -3.00, Fx_shockwave_landing_light_light, // Shockwave light - Head Lights
light.10 = 6, 47.80, -2.90, -3.00, Fx_shockwave_landing_light_light, // Shockwave light - Head Lights

Just exchange the [LIGHTS] section of the "aircraft.cfg" file:

[LIGHTS]
//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing
light.1 = 3, -87.85, -0.10, 27.50, fx_navwhih,
light.2 = 2, -87.97, 0.10, 27.50, Fx_shockwave_strobe_l, // ShockWave light
light.3 = 1, -6.30, 0.00, 3.30, Fx_shockwave_beacon_rotating_red, // ShockWave light
light.4 = 1, -6.30, 0.00, -12.80, Fx_shockwave_beacon_rotating_red, // ShockWave light
light.5 = 4, 53.85, -0.30, -1.19, fx_vclighth,
light.6 = 5, 14.500, 9.70, -7.800, fx_Shockwave_Landing_light_small_old, // ShockWave light
light.7 = 5, 14.500, 9.70, -7.800, fx_Shockwave_Landing_light_light, // ShockWave light
light.8 = 5, 14.500, -9.70, -7.800, fx_Shockwave_Landing_light_small_old, // ShockWave light
light.9 = 5, 14.500, -9.70, -7.800, fx_Shockwave_Landing_light_light, // ShockWave light
light.10 = 5, 14.900, 8.70, -7.800, fx_Shockwave_Landing_light_small_old, // ShockWave light
light.11 = 5, 14.900, 8.70, -7.800, fx_Shockwave_Landing_light_light, // ShockWave light
