I just finished reading "A Higher Call" by Adam Makos. I have always been a history nut. Especially WWII aviation history. I have
read quite a few WWII aviation books. This is one of the best books I have ever read. When I started it I could not put it down.
I really appreciated the way the author showed the air war from the perspective of both the Americans and the Germans. They
all were young men performing their jobs for their country. Franz Stigler flew with or knew most of the stars of the Luftwaffe. The
author was very graphic at times, which was very eye opening to me. This wasn't a movie. This was the real thing. I have the
greatest respect for our veterans. Thank you for serving. Thank you for our freedom as Americans. God bless America!

Re: A Higher Call
Thanks for the mini review, its on my somewhat large to read list.
Oh and if I might return the favour, I recommend this one;
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Half-Wing-Thre ... 0071341455
I found the way it tells the story of a raid from the perspectives of multiple bombers, even those on the way down etc gives a special insight.
cheers,
Lewis
