Liberty Belle

Post by FireRescue85 »

Hey guys,

As we all know, the Liberty Belle crashed in 2011. I heard rumors that they were going to try to do a rebuild using salvaged original parts and new build parts, but haven't heard any update in a while. Has anyone heard any news?

The Liberty Foundation has two B-17's being worked on, one being the rebuild of Liberty Belle. Some sporadic updates are posted on the Aero Vintage forum, but Photobucket ruined the internet so you can't easily see the pictures anymore.

Thanks for the info, glad they're continuing to do work on her, even if I can't view the pics.
