B-17G ORIGINAL Manual ?

Post by Guus »

Hi All,

FANTASTIC BEAUTIFUL plane! FANTASTIC Good and Comprehensive Manual Lewis! I have studied EVERY Page!
What is the name of the original Manual where you display various images in the "A2A B17 Accusim Manual.pdf"?
I purchased a scan copy of "Pilot's Flight Operating Instructions for Army Models B-17F and G. British Model Fortress II" on I-net (August 1, 1943).
But apart from some good "Flight Operation Instructions Charts", this Manual is not nearly what I am looking for!

Greetings, Guus.

Some of them come from the Field Service Manual for the B17G. I would start a search online for that manual ( I think Avialogs might have it). Then branch out from there for whatever item you’re interested in learning more about. Most everything you want to know about can be found online with a bit of looking.

Hey Gus,

There are a lot of interesting AAF manuals here including navigation, C- autopilot etc. Item 247 is a B-17 manual. There are also flight manuals for P51, P47 and lots of others.

This is a huge library of manuals for all sorts of aviation relatd items from various countries. Mainly WWII era, but later aircraft and systems as well. You can back out of this one thread and find lots of other avenues of discussion as well.
