intercooler flaps?

Post by cessna lover »

hi all. I have been trying to find out on the B-17 the intercooler flaps are located? are they the same as the cowl flaps that are right behind the prop or are they some where else? I can't see them opening or closing. it would be nice to know where to look for these little guys. lol cause the cowl flap is on the engine nacelle.

They're inside the wing, not something you'll be able to see in the simulator.

You will not see them open or close but the levers are located right hand side of the copilot #1-4 cold to hot. There is 6 induction boxes for superchargers and oil coolers on each side of the wing.
