Historical Missions in the B-17

Post by metaldesk44 »

Hey all, just thought i would share an Imgur link of a bomber mission i recreated a while back.

The above link is a report from the mission that day. I find this website to be a great resource for planning my B-17 missions, if historical accuracy is your thing.

Nice images, I've recreated a few flights myself using the Hells Angels book which has some handy little maps of the missions.

cheers,

Interesting that you mentioned the 384th Bomb Group.
My Uncle was a chief mechanic in the 384th at Grafton-Underwood.
