Re-familiarisation flight (pics included)

Post by danb12 »

Hi all,

So I have recently swapped to FSX:SE after flirting with P3D and had an urge and wanted to get reacquainted with my trusty old B-17... I have always loved the B-17, even though I am British and loved flying around in the A2A masterpiece and that feeling hasn't changed. I must thank Scott and his team for the ability to keep producing and for making what I believe to be the best add-ons for FSX, I fly nothing but A2A now!

So a quick flight was needed in 'Sally B' from her home at Duxford...

Ready to Start...

Approaching Duxford, crew were happy...

I hope I haven't bored you too much, this is my first post with a story and just wanted to share what has been a very enjoyable afternoon!

and last but not least, 'Sally B' for gracing our skies in the UK for over 40years!! (http://www.sallyb.org.uk/index.htm)
Thanks a lot,
Dan

Nice screenshots! I love the B-17 too but then I love all the A2A planes  . I exclusively fly A2A too these days.

Great post thanks for sharing!

I think it is as much fun reading those stories as it is putting them together. I did some a couple of months back with the B-17 on an Atlantic ferry from the States to Europe in the B-17 screenshot thread.

I'll be looking out for more stuff from you

Awesome! I'll have a read when I get some time! Now that I've done one, I am thinking about doing more! As long as I don't bore you all!
