B17G shockwave download

Have downloaded the upgrade several times and it appears to load correctly. However, when I access the game, the graphics are no longer complete. I get a partial view of aircraft etc. very frustrating. HELP PLEASE

Hello,

it sounds like your installation does not meet the requirements in the manual. Please make sure your FSX is updated to SP2 standard. You can download the two FSX service packs from Microsoft here;

Thanks 4 your response. I read the sp2 info and I have already got acceleration disk installed and it was operating perfectly so I am unsure, based on what I read that I should load sp2.

No Do not install SP2 over Acceleration.
Just to be clear, what B17 package(s) do you have?

I know it's not stated anywhere, however if you use the boxed version of FSX, always install the CD's then restart the computer. Then install SP1 and restart. Then SP2 and restart. Remember the time between the service packs coming out was a long time, to cope with the unsupported product sometimes we need to thank of the length of time between patches and upgrades being released. Doing a fresh install in this order helped me out a lot before I moved to FSX-SE for the ease of use factor.

OR Acceleration INSTEAD OF Sp1 and 2... NEVER both!!!!!
