How come I can't get bored?

I don't understand this. Whenever I have a little time to spare, I jump into my B-17G parked near the hangars at Bassingbourn. Real time, Real weather. I check all the liquids, start the engines, taxi to the runway, do a run-up, then take off. I climb above 20,000 feet, set up the C-1 autopilot, then head to a German/ Dutch/ French city listening to those radio tunes. I drop my bombs, return home, land, park her, do a post-flight check for damages.

It all should be very boring and repetitive. Yet I can't seem to get enough of it... why? I WANT MY LIFE BACK!

Hey there reflected, I know how you feel. Very addictive isn't it I have a few of the other A2A aircraft but always find myself back in the seat of the B-17

There is professional help out there to be found for folks like you but the relapse rate is very high.

Hmmm,

if only we could merge the A2A B17 and other ww2 birds with IL-2 BoS, I would give you additional reasons to stay even more proficient in flying her
